How do I deposit an E-Check on behalf of my Client?

1. Navigate to the matter.

2. Choose '+Add New' and 'Payment'.

Choose to send funds to Trust or Operating.

3. Specify the amount, add a description, and click 'Receive Payment'.

4. Choose the payment method and enter the routing number, account number, and scroll down to enter the payee's information. Click 'review'.

5. Accept the terms provided, click 'Pay' and you’re done!

Note: Most E-Checks will show up in your Rocket Matter Payment report as 'Approved' upon processing of the initial transaction. However, E-Checks may bounce or have other issues that may cause the processing to fail. For this reason, always check the Rocket Matter Pay gateway after taking E-Checks as payment. E-Checks can take up to 14 days to fully clear.
