Enables user access to Matter Dashboards, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Document pages.

'Regular access' users can also add matters, contacts & events for themselves and others. They can also add payments, billable activity for themselves and others, upload documents into matters and create messages for other users.

2. 'Of Counsel' permissions.

'Of Counsel' access is designed to provide restricted access for outside counsel, temporary collaborators, or anyone you want to give restricted access to. Users with 'Of Counsel' permissions can add and view their own billable activity, but are unable to view or edit other Users’ billable activity. 'Of Counsel' Users are not able to apply or accept payments, or add, edit or delete Matters.

Simply put, 'Of counsel' Users have the same basic access as 'Regular access' Users minus a few features. Since this permission is designed for outside counsel or temporary Users there are some additional restrictions that are applied to them.

Note: 'Of Counsel' Users can access the matter dashboard but cannot add or edit matters. They cannot view other User's billable activity while in the Matter Dashboard or apply payments.

4. 'Billing Dashboard Access' permissions.

Users with Billing Dashboard Access have access to the firm billing page and matters list. They can only see a list of matters within the matters list and cannot navigate into the matters themselves.

Billing Dashboard Access allows users to be able to see a matter's financial information. This is useful for a user who is an accountant.
