Prebills section: How to enable Automatic Prebill Billing Cycles.
Automatically run your Prebills by enabling 'Automated Prebill Billing Cycle' on your Matters. When enabled, the system will automatically run Matter billing on monthly, quarterly, or annual cycles. An email notification will be sent to the designated user(s) alerting them of all Matters for which a Prebill was generated. These Prebills will stay in the 'Prebills' section until they are manually audited and invoiced.
NOTE: The automatic cycles will be based on the Matter open date.
1. Navigate to the new Matter or 'Edit Matter' screen.
2. Click on the 'Billing Information' tab to expand the screen.
3. Toggle 'Enable' under 'Automated Prebill Billing Cycle'. Then, choose the desired 'Billing Interval' from the drop-down menu.
4. Choose a 'Prebill Billing Cycle Date'. The 'Billing Interval' will be based on the Prebill Billing Cycle Date.
5. Enter the name of the Rocket Matter user(s) you want to receive the billing notification. After completing this field, click the '+' sign to add the user(s).
6. Click 'Save Matter' to save the configuration.
