How to use NetDocuments Full-Text Search.
The 'NetDocuments Search' feature is part of our NetDocuments Integration. This feature allows users to search their documents by keyword on both a Matter and cabinet level. Results are generated after searching the entire text archive, not just by document titles. Results can be previewed prior to downloading, or they may be opened in NetDocuments directly from Rocket Matter.
1. Navigate to a Matter.
2. Select 'Matter Documents' from the left-hand navigation panel.
3. Select 'Net Documents' as the Source.
4. Enter the keyword you want to search for and choose between searching the 'Matter' or the 'Entire Cabinet'.
5. Select 'Search' to finalize your selection.
6. Results will populate underneath the search bar, including a snippet with the keyword used to generate your search. Click on the hyper-link to view the Document in Rocket Matter.
7. Document details will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen. From here, you may click to download the Document or click to open the document in NetDocuments.
