Role Permissions: How to enable role-based permissions on a new Matter.
Our role-based permission options allow users to create specific user permission roles. These roles are defined by title and the specific access granted in each section of the software. Once roles have been created, you can assign specific users to one, or more, of these roles.

To add Matter-level permissions by role, follow these steps:
1. Click '+Add New' and 'Matter'.
2. Enter the Client, Matter Name, Open Date, and any other Matter-related data you want to include.
3. Then, under the 'Who can view this matter' section, toggle 'The following roles..'.
4. Add the name of the specific user role and select the '+' sign to apply the role.
You may add one or more roles to each Matter. All users who are connected to the selected roles will have access to this Matter.
