Rocket Matter Track: Getting Started, Setup, and Important Information

Rocket Matter Track is a versatile productivity tool designed to help you track and manage your daily activities efficiently. With this tool, you can effortlessly monitor the time you spend on specific applications, handle timers, and even apply the Pomodoro technique. It's an all-in-one solution to boost your productivity and stay organized.

Here are some important points to note before getting started:

  • When you download and utilize the Rocket Matter Track application, it's important to note that your data remains exclusively visible on your local machine (your computer). This design ensures the utmost privacy and data security for your information, as it is not accessible to any other Rocket Matter users. Your data remains confined to your own device, safeguarding your confidentiality.
  • This is accessible to all Rocket Matter tiers without any additional charges.
  • There are no permissions rules associated between the Rocket Matter Track App and Rocket Matter.
  • As of now, the Rocket Matter Track application is exclusively available for Apple (Mac) and Windows computers. It is not compatible with mobile devices. Please ensure you have one of these supported platforms to access and use the application effectively.
  • To record time entries using the Rocket Matter Track app, it's essential to have the timer setting for multiple timers enabled within the Rocket Matter application.
  • Each user who intends to use the application must download it individually and grant Rocket Matter Track access to their files and content. This access is necessary for the proper functioning of the application. To learn more about our privacy practices, you can click here to view our privacy policy.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): The Rocket Matter Track Application does not currently provide support for Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality. As a result, if your Rocket Matter account is configured with SSO, you will not be able to utilize the Rocket Matter Track Application.
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Users with accounts that have two-factor authentication enabled can access the Rocket Matter Track application. During the login process, you'll be prompted to use an authenticator app, receive an SMS, or enter your recovery codes to enhance security and verify their identity.
  • Associating LEDES codes cannot be done within Rocket Matter Track; instead, this task must be assigned in Rocket Matter.
  • The Rocket Matter Track application requires an internet connection for most of its functionality, except for automatic tracking of activities on your computer. If automatic tracking is enabled, it will continue to monitor your activities locally, even when you're offline. However, you won't be able to access other features of the application without an internet connection. When you regain an internet connection, you can then link the billable activities if automatic tracking is enabled.
