  • Automate the process of creating a Matter with commonly associated events and tasks with Matter Templates.  Matter Templates can be applied to brand-new matters, or they can be applied to existing matters.

When you apply a Matter Template to an existing matter, you have the ability to layer workflows of events and tasks to a matter-in-progress.

Before a Matter Template is applied to an existing matter, you will be prompted by Rocket Matter to authorize whether or not you want to overwrite specific matter descriptions, or override existing matter settings.  Once you approve the overwriting of descriptions, or the overriding of settings, you will not be able to revert to the previous data.

  • Adding a logo to your Invoice Template is easy!   Simply download your invoice template and open it in Word.  In Word, add your logo, and upload our updated Invoice Template back into Rocket Matter.

  • Now Invoice Templates can be allocated for a specific Matter!  You no longer need to toggle between Invoice Templates to designate a different Invoice Template for a Matter.   After setting a Invoice Template for a Matter, every invoice run for the Matter will use the designated Invoice Template, even if the invoice is run in Batch Billing.

Invoice Templates are stored in the Admin Section, under "Custom Invoice Templates".  You can designate an existing Invoice Template per Matter, or you can create a new Invoice Template and upload it for use with your Matter.

If an Invoice Template is not specified for an individual Matter,  the "Default Template" displayed in the "Custom invoice Template" section will be used when the invoice is run.

Following are instructions on how to designate an Invoice Template for one specific Matter:
